Like any public agency the Florida Keys Mosquito Control Distirct is subject to public scrutiny. In order to monitor progress and maintain public trust, FKMCD has established its own set of performance measures for managers and staff.

Operational Audit
Recently, the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District underwent a thorough operational audit conducted by a third party. The aim of the audit was to determine if FKMCD was operating in the best interest of the public while not 'overlapping' with other Monroe County services.
