Purpose of the Florida Keys Mosquito Control District:
The abatement and control of mosquitoes and other arthropods within Monroe County is advisable and necessary for the maintenance and improvement of the health, comfort, welfare, and prosperity of the people thereof, and is found and declared to be for public health and other public purposes.
